Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of quoted parts into production, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Customer Documentation: Analyze drawings, models, specifications, and other customer-provided materials to ensure all criteria are met for CNC machining projects.
• Router Management: Develop and modify routers for the production floor, ensuring they align with production capabilities and customer requirements.
• Documentation Updates: Revise models or prints promptly when revision changes occur, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Interface with CNC machining, engineering, quality, manufacturing, customer service, and other personnel to address any discrepancies or issues.
• Customer Communication: Reach out to customers regarding discrepancies with models, prints, plating, ink, hardware, or other related issues.
• Returns Management: Set up jobs for all incoming returns, ensuring proper handling and processing.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support production goals.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a production coordination role within a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Ability to understand and interpret machining blueprints; basic knowledge of CNC and manual machining processes.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MRP and ERP systems (e.g., JobBoss); proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and implement solutions independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a CNC manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

Physical Demands

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor, and mouse; telephone and printer; reach with hands and arms; talk, see, and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel and must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.

Work Environment

The majority of this job function is performed in a manufacturing area exposed to machinery and noise; with eye protection and safety shoes required. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
