Job Description:
MXY Machining is seeking a talented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for automating test procedures to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our products and systems. You will work closely with developers and other quality assurance professionals to design, implement, and maintain automated tests across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test scenarios, use cases, and requirements.
- Ensure that automated tests cover critical workflows and edge cases.
- Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks to increase efficiency and test coverage.
- Maintain and update automated test scripts as product features evolve.
- Monitor and report test results, analyze failures, and assist in debugging.
- Implement best practices in automated testing and contribute to the QA process improvements.
- Work with the development team to ensure quality software is delivered within deadlines.
- Perform regression testing and validate software performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role in software testing.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with database testing and SQL queries.
- Ability to work with APIs and web services (REST, SOAP).
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with mobile testing or cross-browser testing.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
- Automation experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus.
