Role Overview

As a CNC Quality Engineer at Mxy Machining, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of CNC-machined products, working with production teams to implement quality systems, troubleshoot issues, and maintain rigorous standards. Your work will directly influence the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Improvements: Lead quality assurance initiatives, implementing CNC machining quality systems and driving continuous improvements in production processes.
• Standards Implementation & Maintenance: Ensure compliance with quality standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements relevant to the CNC machining industry.
• Data Analysis & Project Prioritization: Analyze data and prioritize quality improvement projects. Work with cross-functional teams to implement changes that improve product quality.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to optimize CNC machining processes, sharing updates and findings across the organization.
• Documentation & Training: Maintain accurate product documentation and provide training to staff on quality standards and processes.
• Reporting & Compliance: Produce performance reports, assist with internal and external audits, and implement corrective actions for quality issues related to CNC machining.
• Product Transfers & Introductions: Support the launch and transition of new products, ensuring quality benchmarks are met from the start.
• Leadership & Improvement: Lead efforts in driving quality and safety improvements within CNC machining processes, cultivating a culture of excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: A strong background in CNC machining and quality engineering, with proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in CNC machining techniques and MS Office; familiarity with quality management software is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying quality issues and implementing effective solutions in CNC machining.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to clearly report findings, explain technical issues, and present quality data.
